  4. A command for rebooting the computer.

  6. Usage:
  7.   reboot [-f]
  8.  
  9. This command causes the system to reboot.  If the (optional) '-f' parameter
  10. is supplied, then 'reboot' will attempt to ignore errors and reboot
  11. regardless.  Use this flag with caution if filesystems do not appear to be
  12. unmounting correctly; you may need to back up unsaved data before rebooting.
